Narelle Wright

Director of Marketing and Digital Accessibility

Narelle Wright brings more than 30 years of experience in technology, project management and digital systems to DASAT.

After losing her functional sight in her 40s, Narelle’s professional focus shifted fully into digital accessibility and inclusive communication. She combines lived experience of vision impairment with deep technical knowledge.

This dual perspective shapes everything we do.

Narelle works with government agencies, education providers and private organisations to ensure websites, documents and digital systems meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines developed by the World Wide Web Consortium.

She is also the host of The Digital Access Show, where she interviews experts and explores practical strategies for inclusive digital design.

Through training, speaking engagements and consultancy, Narelle helps organisations move from awareness to action.

The integration of ethical leadership and digital accessibility strengthens organisational culture. Clear communication reduces conflict. Inclusive systems reduce exclusion. Together, these principles build stronger, more resilient organisations.

Our Approach to Digital Accessibility.

Digital accessibility in Australia is growing in importance. But compliance alone is not enough.

We focus on:

  • Clear language
  • Logical structure
  • Accessible documents
  • Real world assistive technology testing
  • Sustainable implementation

Our work supports organisations to reduce risk, improve user experience and expand their audience reach.

Accessibility done well benefits everyone.

Many people linked together by lines. What is the impact of Perceptions, Beliefs and Assumptions?

Why Our Experience Matters

Mark Muscat, Allan Parker and Narelle Wright

Many consultants understand standards. Few use assistive technology daily.

At DASAT, we combine:

  • Lived experience
  • Technical systems knowledge
  • Mediation and ethical communication expertise
  • Practical training capability

This blend allows us to support organisations at every level, from executive strategy to technical implementation.

We do not offer surface level fixes. We help embed accessibility into procurement, content creation, design processes and digital governance.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple.

Make digital communication accessible, usable and understandable for everyone.

That includes people who use screen readers. People with low vision. People with cognitive differences. People accessing services in high stress situations. And people who simply need information to be clear.

Accessibility is good design. It is good business. And it is the right thing to do.

The words, Vision, Purpose and Mission are on three individual bars. The bars are sitting on top of each other.

Work with us.

A man is holding a sign with the word, Action, on a tablet. A laptop is in the background.

If your organisation is planning a new website, reviewing compliance, or building internal capability, we can help.

Start with a Digital Accessibility Audit or speak with us about a tailored accessibility roadmap.

Together, we can build digital systems that include rather than exclude.
